Have you scheduled your mid-plan review?

Okay, you're receiving this newsletter. To me, that means you're interested in what I have to say (at least a little bit), and if there's one thing I need you to hear, it's that a mid-plan review is a non-negotiable.
It is way too easy to create an awesome strategic plan and let it sit untouched in your files. The hard part? Putting your plan into action and holding your organization accountable for following through. Why make the plan in the first place if it doesn't show up in the day-to-day work?
Okay, okay, I'm being a little harsh, but your strategic plan is for the organization, for your team, and for your customers or the people you serve. It's your organization's North Star.
That's why it's vital that your strategic plan gets what it deserves: a mid-plan review. This is a simple, scheduled check-in where you make sure your plan is on track. If something is off track, it's the perfect time to review and recalibrate.
Strategic plans aren't untouchable - they're living documents that need to account for the realities of your environment. If your environment changes, your plan should change.
Now, you're probably thinking, "Well, Megan, a mid-plan review sounds great, but what the heck does it look like? How formal does it need to be?" I'm way ahead of you. I put together a detailed guide on how to conduct a mid-plan review.
The guide includes:
- Why it matters (even though you probably have a good understanding of why it matters if you've kept reading until this point)
- Who should be involved
- The actual process (step-by-step)
- Dos and don'ts
- A few additional considerations
Ready to get into it? Check out the guide here!
